We cannot fight the climate and nature crisis by building on green spaces, no matter what the project. Protecting our nature and green spaces is the best weapon we have against climate change. Building these decarbonisation units will push out many species whose numbers are already declining, and they will be a massive eyesore for the people who love Crossness Nature Reserve and visit regularly to see the wildlife.
