I am astonished to find that after so much good will and hard work that the precious and delightful Crossness Nature Reserve is threatened with development resulting in the loss of grazing marshland by of all people ‘Cory’, I have often considered Cory to be very much ‘on top of their game’ when it comes to environment and community wellbeing. I feel that the protection of the last remaining grazing marshland and nearby Saltings in the Greater London part of the Thames Estuary is of huge importance for the people of London and as a Natural Estuary Habitat. Therefore, whilst I welcome an upgrade to the Cory site to include carbon capture, I do feel that further examination of the planning application is required. I therefore object to the proposal in its current format and the loss of marshland within the Nature Reserve .
