I have been visiting Crossness Nature Reserve for the past 20 years and was appalled to hear that Cory are proposing to develop their carbon decarbonisation plant on a substantial part of the nature reserve. How can this be justified when the UK has been shown to one of the least nature biodiverse countries in the world and there are brownfield area in the locality where the development would not interfere with wildlife to the extent planned. I would therefore register my objections to this development on these grounds and would hope that the Secretary of State would reject these proposals.
