I wish to make my objection to the planned carbon capture project by Cory. The area proposed is a natural oasis in an increasingly industrial landscape. This provides sanctuary for countless organisms, many nationally important and a peaceful recreation site for local people that can be accessed easily without a car. I use the area on a weekly basis to run, walk and take in the natural world. Over the past few years it has been eaten away at with different developments. What is left must be protected. We must not lose any more area of Crossness nature reserve. No amount of mitigation can replace acreage lost.
