Compulsory purchase of all land and cable routes is concerning. The original inference was that landowners were already consulted and agreeable to their land being used for solar panels. The scoping documents clearly inform that not all pote tial landowners affected are in agreement. This is their livelihood being changed or even stopped due to one business. This is not acceptable. The land in question is constantly being marketed as not best and most versatile. I strongly disagree. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to what actual tests have been done The fields earmarked are in constant production of arable Barley and Wheat or Rape, beans, Oats or Linseed. This is valuable land for growing food. The erection of these panels over such a vast area, when taken into account with the concurrent applications of West Burton, Gate Burton and Tillbridge Solar is beyond sensible. We are a growing population and if the Pandemic and war in Ukraine have not rung alarm bells for more locally produced food, when the populous is starving it will be too late. The wildlife scoping is disingenuous to only refer back to reported instances of specific wildlife such as grass snake, newts, frogs curlew etc. There is plenty of wildlife which is classed as endangered in and around these locations. The scenic value of the Till Vale is undermined in the reports.
