As someone who has lived in and around the proposed area my whole life I feel I have an obligation to protect the environment that I grew up in. I believe that the Cottam and West Burton solar projects are a nonsense approach to solving environmental issues. The proposed facility will destroy the existing environment and ecosystem in our local area with inefficient technology that provides an ecological hazard when it needs to be disposed of at the end of its service. This project does not value community or environment, it only serves politics and the corporate world.
