I am concerned because this project is one of several which will have a massive impact on this area. It is indefensible to try to consider the projects separately, and in isolation. The effect on all aspects of the environment in this area will be devastating. The idea that it is morally or ethically acceptable to take a huge are of productive agricultural land out of production and permanently ruin it is baffling. The amount of electricity generated will be small, and inconsistent, the sacrifice, and loss will be huge, for a negligible benefit.
