It is generally accepted that, in planning, there needs to be some sort of area plan within which various developments are considered. Individual planning applications are considered in the context of their cumulative impact on an area. For example, a local plan may specify a ceiling for new developments in an area that reflect the cumulative impact the existing locality (maybe 5 homes in a small village, 50 in a large village, 500 in a town). l am very concerned that there are multiple proposals for solar farms in Lincolnshire and that I am unable to find any way of establishing an policy in relation to cumulative impact on Lincolnshire - can you advise of me of where I may find this?
