1 Massive disruption on rural roads during construction and continuing disruption by maintenance both contributing to increases in pollution levels. 2. Waste of arable land that has been farmed for several hundred years. Leasing probably gives far better and risk free returns whilst retaining ownership! 3. High levels of risk to habitats. 4. Landscape will be changed dramatically especially from cliff edge overlooking all of proposed developments. 5. Risk of fire and chemical damage from battery energy storage sites. 6. Alternative sites are available which offer far less risk and disruption to local populations.
