Main issues: loss of countryside and agricultural land which would increase the country's dependence on food imports. Solar panels could be put on all new industrial buildings and houses without affecting the countryside and agriculture. This application must not be viewed in isolation as there are many other applications in the local area and their collective impact should be looked at.
