My objections to these projects are :- 1. The impact the solar Farms will have on Lincolnshires wildlife, particularly as there is already a huge decline in wildlife in this country. In other countries where large solar farms like these have been implemented it already has been proven they have affected and confused migratory birds. 2. Lincolnshire is a county where mental health problems are a huge issue and even more so due to the difficult few years we have just had. It’s been proven that green spaces can significantly help people with mental health problems and these projects will reduce Lincolnshires green spaces. 3. The environmental footprint of producing the solar panels is huge. It has to be questioned wether these are sustainable projects. Their lack of efficiency due to the British climate doesn’t stand them in good stead as viable or green projects. 4. Lincolnshire is a rural county with many minor roads, implementing these projects would have a huge impact on our day to day living with increased heavy traffic and road closures.
