I would like to inform you of the impact this project will have on the locals and the local economy. The land which has been targeted for Solar installation is land that is currently the recreation resource of the villagers around Sturton By Stow, Ingham and Stow. Many locals either work on this land in agriculture, pest control or game keeping, or exercise on this land using cycling on its green lanes and tracks ,or walk for health and mental well being. The wildlife seen on this land includes brown hare, stoats, deer etc.and with the planned herras fencing none of which will be able to access their existing tracks and habitats. This is a rural community which has been steamrolled into a Solar Project. If the Solar Panels would make the country energy sufficient then support would be there. However it seems the output from these panels during the brightest of Summers is far reduced from the figures released, the battery storage will again cause an industrial landscape where once there was rural charm. , the infrastructure needed to protect this project is far in excess of what is requested to sacrifice by the local community of residents. I work in this countryside, I walk and enjoy this environment as a local resident. I currently enjoy open unfenced fields of crops providing food . I object to the traffic and construction of this project which will limit or stop local inclusion of this land and also render it an industrial I saw for the the next 40 years. We are already facing a wheat crisis due to the was in Ukraine. We need to protect our farmland and ensure it makes food for our great nation, A farmer is required at every meal of the day to provide bread, meat, veg etc. a government planner and a solar company is required only when the common sense has left the room, and we are focusing on pound notes and green tick boxes rather than the home grown health of the nation, Land which is being used to produce local employment and food is being put forward for the next 40 years as a solar farm. This should not be considered as a suitable means of solving our food crisis or solving our power crisis. Green Lane off Ingham Road, Stow is a green lane used for hundreds of years to access the track leading to Coates and the Flat tops. This along with all other public footpaths and bridleways in the area needs to remain open and accessible throughout.
