I’m extremely concerned and upset about the solar planning in our area. We purchased the house in 2021 and one of the main reasons for buying this property was because of the beautiful views. I’m very concerned the solar farm will potentially de-value our property along with spoiling the picturesque outlook. There is also an abundance of wildlife, it’s heartbreaking to think this will be taken away from them if plans go ahead. Our country roads do not need congestion caused by HGV’s, the impact of the build alone will have a huge effect on not just us but everyone in the surrounding area. The roads around Glentworth Village are narrow and single track in places they’re simply not able to cope with the increased traffic levels this will cause. In short, I strongly disagree with these plans and hope the land is left untouched and continues to thrive as the farming environment it should be.
