I am a regular visitor and have family that live in the middle of the Cottam solar project which many people thought was to be built at the Cottam power station site. Misleading promotion? The outlook from their house would be totally dominated by miles of giant solar panels. Their property and home life has barely been considered in this ill planned proposal. For a nation to think this acceptable is totally uncivilised and lacking in compassion! The single country lane that their property is situated off and the unmade track that services soley their house is to be used by heavy and frequent construction traffic for 2 years. This would be extremely dangerous for them and others to negotiate and for this reason is totally unacceptable. This would make it hugely challenging to maintain free access to their own home and also for any guests and visitors. The damage caused by this amount of extra traffic and mud from the bare fields would make this a living nightmare for them. I am extremely worried about the growing stress levels caused by the intensity of this solar proposal and the many others just a few miles away. Farmland should not be lost at this rate and for such little gain.
