My clients own farmland immediately to the south of Torksey Ferry Road directly south of Cottam Power Station. Their northern field boundary directly abuts the red line boundary of the order limits at point 19/391 on sheet 19 (of 19) of the Cottam Solar Project -Onshore Land Plans, where Torksey Ferry Road is included within a blue shaded area where the Key advises - 'new rights (including restrictions) to be compulsorily acquired and temporary use of land and in relation to which it is proposed to suspend or extinguish easements, servitudes and other private rights' My clients have two queries/possible issues:- Firstly - Knightwood Trust Farms currently take access out onto Torksey Ferry Road and along part of the roadway included within the blue shaded area. Is it the intention to prevent or limit access to the road at this point as such limitation would affect my clients farming activities ? Second - is there an intention to erect a secure boundary along the southern boundary of the order limits with my clients field boundary ? The boundary is currently only demarcated by a open drain running alongside Torksey Ferry Road behind which a short but steep bank rising to my clients farmland. There is no fencing or indeed hedgerow along this stretch of the boundary. We look forward to a response in the appropriate manner. Mike Downes
