Supportive of solar development as part of the nation’s renewable energy mix. But concerned at the scale of Cottam when considered alongside the other solar developments in the area, in particular the combined impact on biodiversity. Thus far, there has been nothing other than fairly general BNG proposals, no specifics or detail to comment on. The potential is huge but fearful only the minimum necessary will end up being proposed and approved. Wish to express concern about this and have good suggestions for significant BNG other than a few trees, hedges and flower seeds between the panel rows!
