The Cottam proposal is one of four sites in this area and I think they are really one big site that should be assessed together. I believe all the power cables connect in to each other which prove they are not separate. Most of the roads in this area are narrow single track carrying local traffic. I can exercise my horses on them with relative safety. If these proposals go ahead that would change forever. Currently the land is farmed by mostly tenant farmers. These farmers have learnt their skills over many generations and often work incredibly long hours for small reward. They do it because they are farmers. If they lose this land they not only lose their livelihood but also their way of life.
