I think that the construction of this solar farm will affect the day to day life of people leaving in the area. I am concerned about the road traffic and the noise and how it will affect wildlife and farm animals, causing issue to the farmers in this region. The development of all these projects (Cottam, Gate Burton and Tillbridge) in the area are to be consider as a huge project that will destroy the natural beauty of this region, defacing the countryside. The use of such a large area (10000 acres in total) of the territory will affect the local economy, depriving of good arable productive land that is used for food production, leaving a long term impact affecting everyone not only all the persons living here. Instead of testing smaller developments and their effect on the surrounding area, a series of large scale project that are all awaiting to be built, at the same time, covering in total a massive area which isn't leaving time to understand the full impact of it. Solar panels are reflecting the solar light and increasing the temperature at the ground level, and causing light reverberation and increase in global warming. The Photovoltaic Heat Island Effect cause by Larger solar power plants increase local temperatures and cause thermic pollution the dry up the ground and increase risk of wildfires. Coupled to this the large battery storage units which are also a fire risk, it would seem a dangerous option to leave areas open to large scale fires (and areas which are populated).
