Having a background in farming and the countryside I am totaly against the proposed soler projects a huge swathe of the countryside in Lincolshire is going to be oblitarated, from the use of very good farmland for feeding the nation to the beauty the wildlife and access for the public would be none existent, the land would be coverd in such structures that they would dominate the views and be highly visible for miles, the enjoyment and peace that comes from being among nature will disappear,. In my opinion it is a far better option to put these pannells on existing large industrial buildings of which there is thousands, and why is it that all these new housing estates being built do not have a obligation to put solar pannells on houses and garages etc, seems to me that this point is being missed on a huge scale. So lets not turn the farmland and countryside as a industrial site it is paramount we are supportive of food production and sustainability to feed the population of this country.
