The whole scheme is ill conceived at best nothing about it is’green’the cost of build the impact on the land to destroy perfectly good farm land especially when we can’t fill supply chains with basic food. How are we disposing of spent batteries and solar panels? We all want to be self sufficient in our own country but we know climate change is real why aren’t all new buildings be them commercial or residential required to have heat pumps and solar panels installation compulsory? The amount of energy the solar farms produce will not equal the cost of installing and maintaining them and we will never have the land back so please please stop this catastrophe before we reach the point of no return
