The Solar project will use highly productive arable land. The project will create an industrial landscape visible for miles around in an area where planning would not be granted for for residential or industrial developments . It will be extremely damaging to the environment and wildlife . The cost of the project is far in excess of the income it will generate. It is not cost effective. There will be huge disruption to many villages in the area during several years of construction. There are huge ares of brownfield sites which could be better used for a Solar project . There has not been a proper consultation process. There have not been meetings with the proposers to discuss the pros and cons of the development. In summary it will blight the lives of thousands of people both within the development and in surrounding areas
