The solar panels are well needed, as long as it isn't at the expense of losing usable agricultural land to support the project. Planned panel installations must also not be intrusive for dwellings in the area, and that the construction/installation work required in order to install all these panels is considerate of local people and the local environment. However, it's such a shame that new property builds in the Lincolnshire area are not sufficiently regulated to ensure that these always have solar panels fitted too. Just outside Saxilby there is currently a large property development there - some 50 plus new houses - and not one of them have solar panels fitted. So easily done by the builders after completing the construction of the roof, when scaffolding is already in place to fit the panels. In fact ALL new builds in the UK should include solar panels by default, along with the requirements to fully insulate new properties. It's a 'no brainer' and yet this is still not happening!!!! Terry
