With respect, I am opposed to the proposed project for the following reasons. I am a partner in our family farm business which grows crops on land adjacent to the proposed site. The land is very good quality agricultural land and every year yields are well above the national average. Why on earth would you want to use this valuable corn growing land for a project that could more wisely be situated on poorer lands or better still on new build house rooves and factory rooves etc? We need to ensure that UK can grow enough food to feed our ever increasing population. Also, the roads and lanes giving access to this site are totally inadequate for the type of infrastructure required to not only construct but also maintain the solar Farm.
