This is just one of of FOUR proposals for solar farms within this area which is going to substantially alter the character of the landscape. They should be looked at in total and not as individual sites. The loss to agricultural land will the permanent and equivalent to several thousand houses and factories which go through much more stringent planning rules. Surely we need land to grow food as much as energy. The height of fences around these solar panels I think is underestimated and will create prison like enclaves in a rural area. Tourism and nature will suffer.
