Feel all local proposals Cottam, Gate Burton, Tillbridge, West Burton should be evaluated collectively as overall scale is detrimental to this area. Easy access to national grid should not determine our destiny, large warehouses have to be encouraged to find feed in methods so good agricultural land not sacrificed for sake of easy access. Arguably local modular generation of energy is way forward not reliance on wasteful grid system. Efficiency of solar panels almost certainly worse than promoter's prospective forecast for this location. Panels benefit Chinese economy over home grown production of cereals, oils and beans. Local winners and losers from selected farm sites will cause resentment amongst neighbours.
