As a local resident who feels they going to be surrounded by the various proposed solar farm projects, have the following concerns: How such vast areas taken up by the solar panels will impact on the local wildlife and habitats? Why are we taking away potential farming land when as a country have just recently been rationing fruit and vegetables in supermarkets? I am also concerned about the potential to have a reduction in property value and the distribution caused by implementing the infrastructure of the projects. I do appreciate the need for greener, cleaner more sufficient energy sources and I am not opposed to the solar farm proposal. I just feel that the size of the proposed projects are damaging to local communities.
