In brief, I want to object because of over the top (enormous) scale of this proposed solar farm. It is located in pretty Lincolnshire (yes, flat, but still characterful and currently unspoiled, particularly in spring and summer months) countryside. I regularly walk along the footpath at the north east corner of this proposed scheme and views of the Cliff/Escarpment to the east as well as farmland to the south and west are lovely. The views across this land, from Lincoln Edge escarpment/Middle Street, are far reaching too and unspoiled with only the power stations beyond, in the distance. The scale of the solar farm is excessive and it will impact people's enjoyment of the countryside. In addition, if constructed, the long term impact will be significant on roads and walkers and residents, from the volume of construction traffic that will be needed, over a long period of time. I agree that solar farms, should have a part to play in our UK energy mix, but they should be in proportion with the surroundings and appropriate, in terms of location and scale, which this is not.
