I understand the need for energy security but we also need food security. Rather than using prime Lincolnshire agricultural land for generating electrity it would be far better to use another site which will not have such detrimental effects. I believe the benefits of the project have been exaggerated, particularly as there is only minimal capacity for storage of the energy generated. At the project's end of life there are going to be significant clear up costs.There are no absolute guarantees that the costs of this will not fall on the taxpayers.
