Food security is threatened by this project due to the land being of a high enough grade to grow cereal crops. There are also significant impacts to wildlife in the area which can currently cross unimpeded. They will be forced around the high security fencing and onto roads to move around causing risk to themselves and road users. There are deer in the proposed area which travel between wooded areas.
