Whilst I am in favour in general of Green Energy, I have objections and concerns based on the following. The size of this project will have a detrimental effect on the beautiful rural landscape of our village and beyond affecting a large proportion villages in the Durham Tees valley. The proposal is to cover hundreds of acres of land with 6 meter high black glass solar panels. Rural landscapes destroyed for 40 years plus, A large scale impact on wildlife and countryside and natural water courses and the draining of land, huge reduction in lost agriculutre and food production, devaluation of property & land and further impact of residents health and wellbeing.
