I live in Anesty Court in Bishopton and strongly oppose the solar farm development. The area round the village is beautiful open countryside, I moved here because I wanted to be in the countryside not surrounded by hundreds of solar pannels and the immense disruption that is going to happen when construction begins. I also own land and stables [REDACTED] just outside the village and my land will be bordered by one of the solar developments. Again I reiterate that I bought the land to be in the middle of open countryside to enjoy and appreciate the stunning views and amazing wildlife we have around here. The construction of this immense solar project will decimate the land and we will lose much of the migrating birds that stop off in this area, as well as birds of prey, deer and many other smaller species. The village and surrounding roads will have a heavy load of big wagons driving in and out, the mess and noise will deeply impact our lives not only during the construction period but for many many years afterwards when the acres and acres of panels are erected.
