My main worry starts with the size of the construction site: The size of transport The increase in mud on the roads affecting cleaning of roads, paths, cars , windows etc. The increase in noise both during and after completion The ease to walk, run, horse ride, cycle and drive locally We have just had a very wet season, what will the site do to change water courses or affect increased surface water flow Then I worry about the proximity of panels to the school and residences The reflection of light into homes and school. The affect on bird life and wildlife Is the size of the project needing to be so large when the government is looking more at wind power generation at sea, we already have wind generators locally. How much cableing needs to be laid and what effect will that have on the land and roads What mental effects will there be on the small elderly population who live in quiet surroundings with pleasant views. Whilst I am very much for “green issues” and protecting our climate, I am not convinced that the size of this project is acceptable, nor of the positive effects on the community and it’s needs.
