As a regular visitor to the area it will dramatically affect the character and ambience of the locality. The area is prone to flooding and recently suffered from local disruptions due to excess rainfall. Proposals for the site are ill conceived given the land proposed for development has been for generations prime agricultural terrain. This has provided high quality and quantity yields of food stuffs for both the local area and much further afield. In view of the present government's plans for more not less home grown quality produce this development would contradict the government's own policy. This development would without question alter indescribably the character of the area for minimal return in consideration of the long term economic damage to the local merchants and traders.
