Byers Gill on its own is a massive solar farm proposal in a very small geographical area impacting many communities in the disruption in its construction as well as a significant negative visual impact. Since the initial consultation about this solar farm it has become clear there an other solar farm developments planned also in the area including Whinfield which is in active construction which accumulatively will have a dramatic detrimental adverse effect on the landscape affecting the well being of residents who live in close proximity.
