As a current resident of Brafferton I am extremely concerned that the infrastructure in our village is not good enough to take increased traffic especially larger commercial vehicles that will need access to the sites. The road through our village is not up to scratch to meet the requirements of residents as it is. The state of the village green is appalling with huge pot holes caused by the occasional farm traffic through the village. Also having watched the progress of the solar farm on Lime Lane it has become apparent that this development will take some time and cause extreme disruption to the lives of the residents in this village over a long period of time as well as destroying the views and the peace and quiet that we currently enjoy. I’m am also concerned that this will also have a negative impact on house values and the local environment.
