I understand we need cleaner energy, my issue with solar is we get most power when we need it the least and on cold dark winter days get less power and need it more, so this then means we an alternative whilst batteries may allow power storage this makes it not very environmentally friendly. So why destroy food growing land which then means food has to be imported adding to food miles. Why can we not just put the initial money into a all year round solution like water turbines? Don’t destroy valuable agricultural food production land.
