Bishopton is a small village and the plans for the development show that a lot of this village is going to be surrounded by panels and storage facilities. This will affect everyone that lives there. Instead of open countryside it will be like living in the middle of an industrial site. Panels are to be erected on agricultural land that is still being used to grow crops surely that can’t be the right thing to do. The site will affect the wildlife of the area, deer, badgers, foxes, otters, hares, songbirds and nesting areas. I own land (with a friend ) down [Redacted] adjacent to where panels are going to be erected we have had no consultation as to how this will affect our lives and how far away from our boundary the panels will be. The public footpath is to be re-routed and I would like to know what direction this will take, there is an access road up to the land and this has not been shown anywhere on the map, it would be helpful to know what is going to happen. Surely there are more appropriate sites to use for solar farms such as brown fill or old industrial sites that will not ruin the outlook for so many people, not just in the village but the surrounding areas. This is a peaceful scenic area with many pursuits that are essential for the wellbeing of the people living in the village and those who visit it.
