Land taken out that provides food production they are making no more land. You say we have no floods in and around Bishopton this year we have had more flooding and solar panels will make it worse Bishopton will not be the picturesque village with fields of solar panels surrounding the village. We will have more traffic during the construction of the panels and afterwards the maintaining of them. Mill lane is a popular place to walk the dog also horse riders use it but with the solar panels it will have more traffic and not enjoyable for riders and walkers, instead of looking over green fields we will look onto solar panels. It is very depressing for the village as a whole to be surrounded by these panels when we have enjoyed country life seeing the birds and wild life all around. property in the village will be devalued because of the solar panels who will want to live in a village surrounded by them. Why have all new houses being built not have some kind of renewable energy built into them I would have thought it was common sense to make it compulsory if we are to go greener.
