I am strongly against this solar farm. At a time when food security is very important to us as a country we giving over good agricultural land. Over two thousand acres of good agricultural where to biodiversity, soils and landscape will be destroyed lands. I apricate energy is important as well but i strongly believe there are much better solutions. There is better energy solutions like wind turbines which have less impact and produce more energy. Different locations would be a better solution like on industry roofing so valuable land is not used. Locally over 900 homes are being built and not one has a solar panel on the roof surely all new houses should have solar put on?The high risk of battery storage catching fire is a huge concern to me. It will have a big visual impact on our home and may homes in the village and to the school.
