I STRONGLY OPPPOSE THE BYERS GILL SOLAR FARM BECAUSE: * Cumulative impact in our area - so many already agreed * Food Security * Loss of Agricultural Land * Loss of wildlife including endangered species * Loss of beautiful countryside * Travelling to visit friends or go about daily business will be awful as they will be everywhere * No local people want these and they aren't being listened to * Wind is more effective - JBM / RWE confirmed this too * These are being suggested in one of the windiest areas - it is madness to fill the land with solar * It is a German company, how is this a benefit to our area? * The cons to solar by far outweigh the pros * All of these huge companies are trying to get their applications in before it is realised that it is no good
