I object strongly to the use of good agricultural land within an area frequented by diverse wildlife being covered in solar panels which could have toxic repercussions. We need to use this land for UK food production instead of relying on buying in food from abroad, and the rich diversity of wildlife which coexists with the farming should not have its habitat threatened or destroyed. I also feel that building a huge project like this should not even be contemplated when it is so close to the homes of the community already living there. The noise, the weight of traffic and the visual impact on so many country people’s lives would be totally unacceptable. It could lead to anxiety, depression and illness, and it would certainly affect the value of their homes and thereby affect their ability to move to a new location.
