I strongly disapprove of this development because:- Loss of good agricultural land which could have a significant impact on food production. Also the increase in traffic which could have an impact on the properties and roads in and around the village which could cause subsidence to property, many which were built in the late 1700s. It will be an eyesore and will have a detrimental impact on the landscape around our CONSERVATION village. Which makes a mockery of the term conservation. Furthermore it will spoil the tranquility of the village, impacting on residents emotional well-being and devaluing the value of our properties, which could then further impact on residents well being. Recreational activities including dog walking would no longer be pleasurable due to the blot on the landscape through having to look at an eyesore. There is also potential loss to wildlife habitats, including ponds and wooded areas. The proximity of the development is too close to the educational provision, which may impact on future numbers on roll and it’s also too close to residents properties. There are other areas within Teesside , such as industrial sites that would be better suited to such a development, without causing such devastation to local rural villages like ours.
