I strongly object to this development. As I was born and have grown up in the village, I was very lucky to have the privilege of being part of such a thriving community and valued my time at the local school. I am particularly concerned as this development is so close to the local primary school and playground, how this will impact on the children and staff. All the potential noise and pollution when the children are playing out and the eyesore of the development when children and their families visit the community playground. There is the potential that many people with young families may not choose to reside in the village and therefore numbers on role at the school may decline. There will be a negative impact to the local wildlife habitats, and the amount of traffic generated, is not only negatively impacting pollution rates but will have a negative impact upon our road surfaces , which may cause additional damages to our cars, subsidence to our homes, effect the value of our homes. This development would not only just be a blight on the landscape, it would impact upon the residents and their families quality of life. This would have an awful impact on the visual effect and totally destroy the character of this Conservation village. Which will make a mockery of the concept of conserving the village. Furthermore for many of us this could have a detrimental impact upon our health and well-being as it will restrict places to exercise and also take the enjoyment out of doing so, due to the unacceptable changes to the landscape.
