I strongly object to this development. As a resident, I have lived in the village since being a small child. I am deeply concerned regarding the impact that this development will have upon our local community. In particularly the devastation of local wildlife habitats and the environmental landscape. It will limit our enjoyment when taking part in leisure activities as it will no longer be tranquil, unspoilt countryside. Instead we will be blighted with the monstrosity of an industrialised zone so close to our homes, local primary school and play ground. There is also the potential for the development to have a negative impact upon our local infrastructure, access to the village due to further flooding because of poor drainage of excess surface water, subsidence of properties, a negative impact to the quality of local roads, levels of pollution and loss of good agricultural land. With the potential to a devaluation of our properties and the loss of peoples livelihoods, due to the native impact this could have upon local businesses. Many residents have chosen to live here to promote healthier life styles for themselves and families, and to get away from business of work. This development will curtail peoples ability to come home and go for a relaxing walk or bike ride with their families, which could impact on peoples longer term emotional and physical wellbeing.
