I strongly object to this development. As growing up, I have special memories of visiting family members in this tranquil conservation village. I was shocked and horrified to be made aware of this solar farm development, which will totally destroy the landscape and character of the local area. Furthermore, it will have a negative impact upon the local wildlife and this could lead to the decline of many endangered species. It will also impact upon the health and wellbeing of local residents, as this village will no longer be tranquil and it could also cause a huge reduction in the value of properties and potential livelihoods of some community members. The trees that line the village could be damaged, many which have been there many decades. I am deeply saddened at the potential of returning back to visit my family members knowing that such devastation may be caused to their community.
