This proposal is wholly out of proportion and should be dismissed. It has complete disregard for a host of key and interested parties. The extent of the cumulative position equates to 1200 football pitches over a small area and crossing several small rural and conservation listed villages, of which there are only a few in this area of the North East. It is not only the character and historical importance and structure of these villages that will be irreversably damaged, but also the lives of its residents, including many retired people and school children attending the small primary school. In addition it will destroy our local and protected wildlife of which there are various species. The level of heavy duty traffic will without doubt be consequential in future accidents and indeed I predict, fatalities. The road infrastructure is wholly in adequate being a popular area for horse riding and cyclists. Our knowledge of nearby solar farm developments that are under current construction confirms that the drivers of the lorries employed are all would be Lewis Hamiltons. It is also worth noting that the historical productivity of the affected farmland has always been high and is not 3b as the developers would have you believe. The overall affect on the life style of all local residents and wildlife is such that this wholly disproportionate and greed driven proposal should be dismissed.
