I strongly object to the proposed development on the basis summarised below: The project will remove valuable arable farming land that is vital to the UK's independence for food supplies Brownfield land should be used for such projects before greenbelt land The local villages and populous reject this project for the negative impact it will have on the local environment and daily lives of residents There are negative health impacts of these installations when in such close proximity to domestic dwellings The location of the battery and grid connections may exceed the minimum permitted distance from domestic dwellings The benefits of solar farms located within the UK are marginal due to our climate and the negative impact on the rural lands they are installed on far exceed any benefit. Local wildlife will be killed and populations of protected animals decimated in the long term Without subsidies these projects are very rarely viable and once the subsidies are removed the projects will will end, leaving a scarred landscape and environment.
