Firstly my main issue regarding this proposal is the shear size of it and just how it is going to severely impact a part of our beautiful countryside but mainly about the close proximity of this to several villages, all within walking distance to the huge disruption to general day to day life for these villagers that will follow should this proposal be allowed. Not to mention the close proximity to the local infant and junior school and all the traffic that this generates is going to mean almost certainly an accident is waiting to happen. Surely something of this size needs to be sited in an area that does not have so many people and homes immediately next to it. This makes far more sense to me, but then I guess that the reason for this area being earmarked will be the cost? Ah yes the cost, that will be the reason. It will be cheaper to site it here than to go further into the countryside where the access will be more difficult and costly. Why would you care about the impact on peoples lives and homes in the surrounding area? The wildlife is going to be desecrated wherever you choose to site this, so that clearly doesn't matter to you either, and the fact that I hear a cable route is going to go straight through an historical motte and bailey site at Castle Hill. Again, why would you care about historical sites? This proposal is flawed and should never even have been a consideration for this area.
