I strongly object to the application of the Byers Gill solar Farm industrial site surrounding Bishopton Village residential area, on the fact that this will cause health and safety issues for the residents including friend’s and family and individuals that visit the area for their own mental health, Bishopton is an area accessible for many busy housing areas to visit and enjoy open countryside and to escape the stresses of main stream living, there are regular cycling groups and walking groups that visit the village on a day to day occurrence, walking and cycling the exact footpaths that this industrial site will destroy. 12 years ago we took a huge step to move to Bishopton from a main residential area for a location that gave us the opportunity to be surrounded by countryside and to enjoy the wildlife this area provides to help reduce stress and improve our own mental health. Over the last few months since Byers Gill have been trying to rape our fields,kill our trees and wildlife and disrupt a peaceful area, we have had a number a friends and neighbours including ourselves that have been affected mentally by the stress this has been putting upon innocent people who have made a home and life within the area, we have lost close neighbours who have decided to move away rather than be surrounded by an industrial area, this application has already fragmented a village and needs to be stopped before any more harm is caused. With the increase of mental health being a huge problem in our life’s today I would hope this would take precedence over the greed of industry.
