I strongly OBJECT to Byers Gill Solar Farm: 1] The size of this Solar Farm will totally overwhelm this beautiful rural location. It will turn the area into an industrial landscape. 2] Local amenities will be lost. As a frequent visitor to this area, I have noticed that the lane [Mill Lane, Bishopton] is used by walkers, cyclists, dog walkers, horse riders and families. It is a lovely quiet lane in a rural setting, this amenity will be lost especially during the construction stage and probably forever. 3] The project proposes the use of good agricultural which should be protected for food production. This is becoming more important as the world becomes more volatile. 4] The cumulative effect of all the local solar farms, 2600 acres, are far too many in this small rural area. 5] It is far too close to resident's homes in the rural village of Bishopton.
